8.4.3 Acknowledgement messages

Acknowledging the receipt of a MusicalWorkClaimNotificationMessage sent using this Profile is mandatory when using the file exchange protocol defined in Clause 6.2 in Part 1 of the MWN standard and shall be achieved by sending an FtpAcknowledgementMessage as defined in Part 1 of the MWN standard. Other formats may be used in addition based on a bilateral agreement between sender and recipient.
